One of the important aspects of the mission of the Archaeological Museum "Julio Cesar Cubillos"- MAJCC, is to contribute to the training of undergraduate and graduate students, both from the Universidad del Valle, as well as from other universities that have curricula in Anthropology, Archaeology, Visual Arts, History and Social Sciences. Between 2009 and 2021, the professor of the Department of Visual Arts and Aesthetics and director of the Archaeological Museum Carlos Armando Rodriguez, has taught the following courses: Pre-Hispanic Culture and Art in Valle del Cauca, Art History I, Art History II, Research, Ancient Societies of America, Ancient Societies of Colombia and Ancient Societies of Valle del Cauca.
